Maxwell Server

This server (named Maxwell after the famous electromagnetics pioneer) and was used to provide extra resources alongside Learning@griffith. It was first created as a web server running under the desk of Brett Wildermoth around 1995 for use by staff of the school of MicroElectronics.

Later migrated into the School of ICT data center, and then as a Virtual server in the University Datacenter. From 2012 it has been maintained by the UNIX/Linux Team, and Prof. Steven O'Keefe of the School of Engineering.

Maxwell has now been Decommissioned
